The art of sailing through this pandemic is to create our small pockets of joy. One afternoon, I turned into a mindful practice of tea making. I had some blue pea flowers, so after pouring the hot water into a glass pot, I took my time observing how the water turned into a mesmerizing shade of blue. I waited until it cooled down, sipping slowly, enjoying the warm, natural blue-colored drink. I took pauses, listening to chirping birds in between sips.
